The Art Toast Project consists of edible remakes of major works by famous artists, using a piece of toast as the canvas. The idea was based on the literal interpretation of “food art” and the desire to make art more accessible.
Why? (you may ask) BECAUSE IT’S FUN!

January, 30, 2013 – Philadelphia, PA — In front of a panel of top Network executives and a packed ballroom, Lunchbox Communications pitched their latest series “The Stable” at the “So You Think You Can Pitch” competition at the Realscreen Summit in D.C. on Tuesday, January 29th, 2013. Realscreen Summit is widely regarded as the world’s preeminent non-fiction conference for factual programming and content creation.
“The Stable” captures, from the inside out, the pulse and drama of boxing and the lives of those who dedicate themselves to it.
Facing off against fierce competition, Dafna Yachin, Chief Creative Officer, impressed (or intimidated) the judges with a fantastic pitch which included on stage appearances by Philadelphia boxers Gabriel “King” Rosado, Todd “2Gunz” Unthank-May, and Jesse “Hard Work” Hart.
“The Stable” served a one-two punch and knocked out the rest of the competition. Read more about “The Stable” and Realscreen ’13 at the link below:

To execute the ad, the Times developed an API with an index of 139 years of front pages, from 1863 to 2002, a spokesperson said. That’s more than 50,000 covers in total.
