Would you wear an Apple watch? Is Apple running out of ideas?
1March 20, 2013 by lunchboxcity
Apple and Samsung’s purported desire to create a “smart” watch to pair with their
smartphones seems to be an incredibly dumb idea. The two, usually wise, companies would be making a grave mistake entering the low-margin cellular accessory market, where the competition is fierce and the barriers to entry are incredibly low. Furthermore, the utility of such a device seems questionable, likely appealing to a limited subset of consumers of unfashionable geeks and pudgy weekend warriors.

Grey Poupon Remake “Pardon Me”
Leave a commentMarch 5, 2013 by lunchboxcity
Pardon me, are you a brand whose only real equity comes from a campy TV spot made 30
years ago that’s been parodied to death in pop culture? Grey Poupon, of course, is exactly that brand. And that 1981 “Pardon Me” ad loomed large over Crispin Porter + Bogusky as it began rebuilding the Kraft Foods brand after 15 moribund years.
