Check out this imagespowerful article on a boy who has a very rare disorder called FOP and landed on the front page of Reddit. For those unfamiliar to the Reddit community, an “AMA” (Ask Me Anything) is a chance for people with unusual lives to share their stories. Users of the site, called Redditors, can either upvote or downvote a post, which influences the post on the home page of Reddit. People who write these types of posts must provide evidence that their story is legitimate.

    Google is giving the upcoming film “The Internship” a marketing assist, offering it what’s arguably the most exclusive placement on the web: the Google home page.

    Screen shot 2013-03-14 at 2.22.15 PMSlated for a June 7 release, “The Internship,” stars Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson and depicts workplace culture at Google, where the film is set (although the lion’s share of the filming was done at Georgia Tech). The movie trailer is being released today, and this afternoon the two co-stars are talking about the film in a Google “Hangout” video chat hosted by Conan O’Brien. Google has promoted the chat under the search box on Google.com, but later this afternoon will swap that out for a link to a political-themed Hangout.
